Hardwood species is Red Oak, plank
thickness 3/8 and 4 1/2 inches in width.
The line is
considered more of a character
type grade offering a good amount of color
variation and visible knotting seen in the
Tumbleweed stained color (shown right).
Two other stained colors in the Frontier
line are much darker in their Rawhide and
Saddle. Finish sheen level is a semi
gloss.
For you DIY installers, the company does
not advise the floating method with this
product. Stapling or gluing direct to a
proper subfloor are currently the only
options.
