Appalachian Frontier Plank is part of the Black Rock Collection offered by the company. Hardwood species is Red Oak, plank thickness 3/8 and 4 1/2 inches in width. The line is
considered more of a character type grade offering a good amount of color variation and visible knotting seen in the Tumbleweed stained color (shown right).

Two other stained colors in the Frontier line are much darker in their Rawhide and Saddle. Finish sheen level is a semi gloss.

For you DIY installers, the company does not advise the floating method with this product. Stapling or gluing direct to a proper subfloor are currently the only options.

Ease of Installation- Wood Subfloors; Good. Staple/Nail DIY friendly. Concrete; High difficulty DIY gluedown. Professional recommended. Floating floor DIY friendly
