Our view of Appalachian Hardwood Floors is
quite positive in that they offer a variety of wide plank premium hand
scraped lines in both engineered and solid. Looking for dark stained
hardwoods? Appalachian is a good place to start.
Appalachian is part of the higher quality Anderson
family of hardwood floors. The company was the industry pioneer in the
early engineered hardwood days. A time when seemingly few dared to move
away from traditional solid hardwood flooring.
Yes, they do offer lower priced budget type
floors, but don't expect your standard Red Oak flooring everybody else
sells. In recent years the company has shifted away from the oaks into
Hickory, Maple, Pine, Ash, Birch, and some imported exotic hardwood
species.
