Appalachian Mammoth Plank is part of the Black Rock Plus line. Differences between the original Black Rock and Plus is a thicker board and a small increase in the thickness of the
veneer on the surface of this engineered hardwood. Width measures in at 4 1/2 inches.

Mammoth offers a slightly more resistant Maple hardwood in three darker stained colors that include Fury, Holster, and Woodstock. As illustrated on our site numerous times, actual hardness should not be taken in earnest when selecting any hardwood floor. This line is considered more rustic than anything exhibiting the characteristics of hardwood in it's natural state.

Installation types include the glue and tap together, stapling with proper flooring fasteners or gluing direct to concrete by experienced professionals.

Ease of Installation- Wood Subfloors; Good. Staple/Nail DIY friendly. Concrete; High difficulty DIY gluedown. Professional recommended. Floating floor DIY friendly
