BR111 Hardwood Floors

Our view of BR111 Hardwood Floors has always been favorable. The company providesBR111 Hardwood Floors two entry level products in both solid and engineered. While the thinner 5/16" engineered cannot be refinished should one desire such, a good step up is the 3/8 inch thickness line that offers a solid sawn veneer, thicker than most other hardwood manufacturers.

BR111 is principally engaged in imported exotic hardwoods. Some of the more

common exotics include Brazilian Cherry, Teak, and Santos Mahogany. By and large, their solid 3/4" exotic hardwoods are on the pricey side, but the company offers thinner solids providing the same unique appearances at substantially lower prices.

A high end hand scraped line is presented in the solid 3/4" Antiquity line that are all stained, including some high gloss almost black like appearances.

July 2010 Update - The company has radically changed their marketing strategy by eliminating distributors who in turn would sell to local dealers. The end result is a plus for consumers as price savings are substantial. We’re temporarily neutral on the company as they’ve introduced a large number of new products and hardwood species we’re unaware of.
