| Bruce Coastal
Woodlands was originally the only
floating floor product the company
offered. While at one time a thinner 3/8"
product was offered, the line is now a
standard 1/2" thickness
with width of 7
and 11/16 inches in what is called a three
strip format. Three strip is defined as
three strips or pieces across the width of
the planks themselves offering a three
strip appearance. A close-up image can
identify this characteristic on the White
Oak Nutmeg.
The collection offers several stain colors
along with some natural hardwoods in the
likes of Maple, Cherry, Beech, Red Oak,
and Merbau. If you're not fond of a more
uniform grain appearance in natural
hardwoods, the Coastal Woodlands has some
attractive country type hardwoods with
lively color variations.
Installation
applications of the Coastal Woodlands
currently calls for the older apply glue
and tap together method for floating
floors. In addition, direct glue downs are
one portion of the specs. However we've
found this to be a very difficult
installation type for both professionals
and do it yourselfers |
