Plank is an engineered 3/8" thick by 3
inch wide Pecan hardwood specie. Pecan has
properties similar to Hickory while at the
same time is often referred to as
the same
in one sentence. However the appearance of
Pecan is very different than Hickory
offering a cleaner grain opposed to the
common color variations from one board to
another in it's hardwood cousin.
The Greenwich plank
offers similar visual characteristics to
Maple if you're seeking a more
contemporary look. Colors include a
natural finished Pecan (shown below and
right), along with Amber, and two darker
colors in Brandywine and Smokey Topaz.
Unfortunately due to issues with Pecan and
the staple installation method, Bruce only
recommends gluing direct or floating this
product to a proper subfloor. As with all
Bruce products, color coordinated trim
moldings and other accessories are
available with this product line. |
