Oak is a solid 3/4" x 2 1/4" Red Oak
strip hardwood. Expect some considerable
color difference from one board to the
next as the line is considered a lower
grade. Colors range from a natural semi
gloss clear finish, to straw, brown, and
reddish stains in Wheat, Honey, Cocoa, and
Cider.
Adams
Oak can only be installed over wood
subfloors by the nailing or stapling
installation procedures. As with all solid
hardwoods acclimation periods may spell
success or failure with this product line.
Ease of Installation-Wood
Subfloors; Good. Staple/Nail DIY friendly.
Concrete; No direct gluedown. Minimum 5/8"
plywood subfloor needed for nail or staple
installation. High difficulty DIY, professional
recommended.
