Columbia Burke Maple is considered a strip floor. This means each board is 2 1/4 inches in width on this solid 3/4" hardwood. Strip flooring offers more of mid 20th century motif, as the
style was the most popular of the time. In recent years wider planks have become more sought after.

Burke Maple will have several appearances, in that some will have greater color variation from one board to the next. Natural will be more consistent but will display some color, while the Rustic will show abundant natural characteristics. Two stain colors include a burgundy Garnet and a Chestnut.

How to install? Considering this is a solid 3/4" hardwood, only stapling or nailing with proper flooring tools are recommended.

Ease of Installation- Wood Subfloors; Good. Staple/Nail DIY friendly. Concrete; No direct gluedown. Minimum 5/8" plywood subfloor needed for nail or staple installation. High difficulty DIY, professional recommended.
