Maple offers an open grained Maple
engineered hardwood. Open, indicating the
grain pattern is subtle compared to a
common Red Oak. Maintenance can
sometimes
be a problem, unless one were to choose a
Maple with more color variation. These
characteristics tend to mask the
inevitable damage that occurs to all
hardwood floors over time.
Nelson Maple is provided in a natural
clear finish along with one stain color,
Caramel. One benefit to choosing a Maple
is the color change effect being minimal.
Most will amber over time. Nelson is
approved for stapling and gluing direct to
concrete or wood subfloors, only we would
suggest the glue method only because of
the very thin overall thickness at 5/16"
