APC Cork Floors

Our view of APC Cork Floors is very positive. As with other cork manufacturers their mainstay product line had been commercial square tiles that required installation by the glue down method. With the growing awareness of product sustain ability and the desire for flooring materials less prone to allergic reactions the company has continued to build product lines demanded by designers and in turn consumers.

The addition of the simply put cork floating floor line became a boon to the do it yourself market. Considering cork itself is resilient one cannot ask for a simpler method with this click type installation. Colors run the gambit from pure whites to near jet black along with bright colors in their kids collection making an ideal floor covering for young toddler play areas and rooms. Common planks run 12 inches by 36 along with a recent addition called the plank that mimics a wide plank floor style.

Back in early 2004 when the idea of residential cork flooring was almost considered remote by many, one of our installer contacts put together a cork flooring review that highlighted APC in particular.
