Garrison Collection Hardwood Floors

The Garrison Collection concentrates their product lines on thicker engineered distressed flooring. Considering a large number of manufacturers offer thin veneered flooring with basic appearances, this company has made inroads over the last decade, bringing to market a leap in richer looking product lines with distinct advantages.

Nearly all products offered are presented with plank lengths starting at 12 inches and finishing off at 60 inches. Others in between are not general shorties either. Expect a number of longer lengths with each carton. A few recent introductions specifically the Garrison Plus actually runs to seven feet in length while offering some unique quarter sawn hardwoods.

Other design ideas include the Time Inspired II Collection offering a random planking look or widths of 3, 5 and seven inch. Another decorators delight is the French Connection presenting a much wider seven inch plank styled with wire brushing effects that highlight the grain patterns in White Oak. Looking for dated White floors? There are a number of ones with this collection that offer random lengths or preset determined longer lengths.

Other benefits with the Garrison Collection include thicker than usual veneers, or what many in the industry term wear layer on their engineered hardwoods. Minimum thickness on some lines measure 2.4 millimeters (mm) whereas most are 4 or 5. Don’t recall the conversion? 1 mm= .04 inches. An industry average could fall in the 2.5 mm range.
