Armstrong
Shadwell Plank is a very thin below
average quality engineered three inch
plank. The product is a common rotary
peeled Red Oak that offers little benefit
to potential buyers.
Shadwell may prove to be an option for
those seeking price, but we suggest
spending a little more for something of
better marginal quality if you're on a
tight budget. Even laminate floors may
fall into this category. The only real
benefit we see to this line over other
lower priced Armstrong products is the
length factor. Boards run random starting
at 10 inches up to 60.
Gluing direct to
wood or concrete subfloors is our only
installation recommendation, but that in
itself may increase the cost another 25 or
80 cents depending on where it is
purchased or the type of adhesive chosen.
Colors in this product line include a
natural clear finish, Honey, Sienna, and
Saddle. |
