Armstrong
Somerset Strip & Plank is another
solid 3/4" strip and plank floor produced
by the company. This 2 1/4" & 3 1/4" line
offers both white and Red Oak in one
natural clear finish
and 12 stain colors.
A few recent color introductions caught
our eye in the Silver Oak and Graphite,
both darker woods following an industry
trend in recent years.
Similar to other Armstrong solid
hardwoods, which are many far and in
between, our opinion on the product line
is favorable, but there are a slew of
other options today. Aside from a natural
clear low gloss finished Red Oak, other
stain selections can be found on the
right.
Somerset can be installed by nailing or
stapling with recommended flooring tools
over a proper flat and prepared subfloor
Ease of Installation-Wood Subfloors; Good. Staple/Nail DIY friendly
Concrete; No direct gluedown. Minimum 5/8"
