Homerwood Hardwood Flooring focuses on higher end solid and engineered character grade along with distressed flooring. Don’t expect any skinny strip or low priced products with this company. Founded in 1984 the company has grown from offering only solid wide plank products to a more diverse product mix.

Notwithstanding their high quality solid hardwoods, of appealing interest are their engineered flooring lines; all character type appearances. Although you will not see the difference until the floors are installed, all those shorter pieces other companies mass produce don’t exist here. Yes, there will be a few but most average four to five feet in length with the longest being 84 inches. Here’s a unique twist. The company offers custom engraving options that can be in the form of designs for a foyer entry or room perimeter borders. This is a totally unique idea we’ve not seen by other manufacturers.

Finding Homerwood in your neighborhood carpet and tile store is not likely at the present time. However, considering the company was acquired by Armstrong in recent years, distribution and availability should increase. In the meantime, look for folks that deal with hardwood day in and day out.
