True Hardwoods Review - Online Dealer
• Job Of The Week Home
Who are the online dealers of today? More important on most minds are..."how do I know
they're a legitimate business, or are they authorized to sell these products?" Recently we visited truehardwoods.com located in Calhoun, Georgia to learn more about their web presence and business overall.
True Hardwoods is a Georgia corporation whose online business started in 2005 by Charles Wade Holbert. Wade has thirty years in the flooring business with his latest stint as sales manager of Dalton Carpetmaster. His move to online and serving the North Georgia market through their retail store in Calhoun brings along two sons in Justin and John who maintain most of the online business for the company.
Authorized Dealers?
When hardwoodinstaller.com sold hardwood flooring over the internet many potential buyers always wanted to know if we were authorized. At that time some research was in the cards. Looking at the competition I picked 12 online dealers at the time and used all their contact information to see who was actually authorized to sell these products. Choosing Kahrs hardwood only three were actually authorized! Of those three, one was this site, True Hardwoods, and another has since gone out of business.
What can authorized dealers do for you? For one; if any problems occur with a product you are buying an authorized dealer has the capacity to make it right. Typically if problems do occur manufacturers ask both the distributor and dealer to get involved. Without being authorized it can be a scramble. Problems may get settled but the time in doing so is greater.
True Hardwoods Prices Are Lowwww!
Looking online at some of the major players in the industry, truehardwoods.com has other top online companies beat up on price. Names include Fast Floors, IFloor, Hoskinghardwood, and Internet Floors. What's more is they will ship all product orders for $99.00 to customers in the southeast USA and parts of the central plains. Nobody else offers such. Let's say we're shipping 1,000 square feet of Mannington hardwood to Chicago. Typically freight companies will want well over $500 to get the job done but True Hardwoods will do it for under a hundred bucks through major freight companies! They also have attractive shipping rates to other parts of the USA and Canada.
What Do They Sell?
Most of the company's business is hardwood and laminate flooring but they also run internetcarpets.com. Products you will see in their showroom are the same you would buy at your local dealer down the street or the other dozen online sellers.
Located on Georgia highway 53 one mile west of interstate 75, the showroom is open from 8AM to 6PM weekdays. Saturday and Sunday by appointment only. Their toll free line 877-756-4400 is available Monday through Saturday 8AM until 11PM EST.

How Do They Handle My Orders?
Orders are not taken over the internet with shopping carts much like the others. Instead anyone can speak to a representative on their toll free line. In our time selling flooring on the web I found handling orders this way instead of punching numbers and clicking boxes online is best for the customer. More bases are
covered. Items are not forgotten. A real sales representative one can speak with will double check everything has been ordered. The final result is a job that will be ready with all the necessary accessories.
Metro Atlanta Buyers. Why Go To Dalton?
I've been to Dalton, but found it to be a maize of billboards or deciding which store has the best deal. Why bother is my thought. Dalton is not the place it used to be, unless you're looking for really cheap stuff. It seems all the stores sell it. True Hardwoods sells all the same major brands as others in Dalton, but with high gas prices saving every penny adds up. True Hardwoods, Inc. is a mere 50-60 miles from places like Kennesaw, Marietta, and Roswell.
